We are happy to accept referrals for Mohs micrographic surgery, excisions (benign and malignant), cosmetic consultation, as well as many other skin procedures at both locations. Dr. Humphreys is happy to discuss any patient referral with you.

With regard to Mohs micrographic surgery, we offer patients a choice of having a preoperative consultation or same day surgery. For the convenience of your patients we request that you send the preoperative biopsy report and any other relevant medical information available prior to the appointment. Simply fax the biopsy report for the site that needs Mohs and the fax referral form with patient contact information and we will take care of the rest. A fax confirming the appointment can then be returned to you when the appointment has been made. If no prior biopsy has been performed please have the patient schedule for a consultation appointment or notify the office.

If you anticipate that a Mohs surgery referral will be particularly large or complex, please instruct the patient to schedule a consultation appointment preoperatively. This will allow for the arrangement of preoperative imaging studies and coordination of care with other surgical specialists if necessary.

After their surgical follow up is completed, all referred patients will be instructed to return to their primary dermatologist for their regular skin care.
